On the International Volunteer Day, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with representatives of the Ukrainian volunteer movement and presented them with the President’s Golden Heart award.

Representatives of volunteer organizations and movements that contribute to the defense, security and interests of the state in connection with Russia's military aggression and overcoming its consequences were awarded the Presidential Golden Heart for their significant personal contribution to the provision of volunteer assistance and the development of the volunteer movement.
This year, 40 citizens were honored with the Golden Heart award.
Volunteers Alona Aivazian, Volodymyr Anisimov, Davyd Dzhalahonia, Andrii Zarichanskyi, Nataliia Kartasheva, Tata Kepler, Liudmyla Kucher, Vitalii Lyfar, Maksym Mostovyi, Serhii and Anastasiia Rybalchenko, and Yurii Tyra received the award from the President. All of them provided assistance in supplying the front line, evacuating the wounded, and providing humanitarian aid to internally displaced persons.
