Air defense system shoots down enemy missile near Dnipro (updated)

Defenders from the East military group shot down a rocket near Dnipro.

The head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Serhiy Lysak said on Telegram that the explosions in Dniprovsky district were the work of air defense. "In the evening, there was an explosion in Dniprovsky district. It was our air defense system working on an enemy target. The defenders from the Vostok military group shot down the missile," the statement said.
The Air Force reported a missile moving in the direction of Dnipro.
"Attention! A missile is headed to Dnipro!" the message read.
