Biden: If Putin captures Ukraine, he will not stop at that

US President Joe Biden called on Congress to approve a package of additional aid to Ukraine.
This is reported by Censor.NET with reference to RBC-Ukraine.
"Congress must approve additional funding for Ukraine. I am shocked that we have reached this point and the Republicans refuse to approve it," the US president said.
He recalled that Russian soldiers continue to commit war crimes, and Ukrainian people have been defending themselves for almost two years. And the U.S. should be proud to help Ukraine succeed.
Biden said that today he met online with the leaders of the "Big Seven". And at the meeting, the readiness to continue supporting Ukraine was discussed.
"I'm not ready to give it up, and neither are the American people. If Putin captures Ukraine, he will not stop there," he added.
Biden believes that the Russian president will continue his attack and attack NATO. And then the US authorities will see what they do not want to see - a war between the Americans and the Russians.
"Today's vote will be remembered for a long time. Will we turn our backs on freedom and liberty? We can't let Putin win. We cannot allow supplies to Ukraine to be disrupted. Radical Republicans are holding aid to Ukraine hostage," the US president stressed.
He clarified that there are differences between Democrats and Republicans, but party politics should not contradict the values and state goals of the United States.
"The whole world is watching what the United States is doing. If we don't support Ukraine, what will the rest of the world do? I call on Congress to protect freedom. Let's do it so that Putin doesn't seize Ukraine and move on," Biden concluded.
