Only Ukrainain armed forces hold forefront, - General Staff
As of Friday, only Ukrainian armed forces stay at the front lines in the ATO area.
As reported by Censor.NET citing Interfax-Ukraine, this was announced by the General Staff spokesman Vladyslav Selezniov on air of 5 Channel on Friday night.
"As of today, the entire forefront is occupied by the regular armed forces of Ukraine. After the Ukrainian Black Berets took up positions on the front line in the area of Shyrokyne and Mariupol, this front line of confrontation is under full control of the Ukrainian military," he said.
Moreover, Selezniov added that second and third lines of defense were held by the National Guard and Interior Ministry units. "But the forefront is under sole army control," the spokesman said.
