Failure in Kyivstar: Subscribers cannot switch to another operator via national roaming
Due to the failure, Kyivstar subscribers cannot switch to other operators via internal roaming.
According to Censor.NET,Hromadske was informed about this by the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
"National roaming is not working because Kyivstar's network cannot transfer information about its subscribers to other operators' networks due to a general technical failure," the statement said.
The Ministry noted that this is a temporary problem that all Kyivstar specialists are actively working on to restore connectivity to their subscribers. The company will resume services in the near future.
"After the current problem is resolved, we will discuss with all mobile operators how to avoid similar situations in the future and protect users from unexpected communication problems," the Ministry of Digital Transformation concluded.
This morning, on 12 December, Kyivstar mobile operator experienced a large-scale failure.
