Compared to December 2022, criticism of the authorities is growing. Ukrainians have also become less trusting of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

This is evidenced by the results of a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS),  Censor.NET informs.

In particular, according to the results, the share of those who trust the Verkhovna Rada has decreased from 35% to 15%, and the share of those who do not trust has increased from 34% to 61%. Government's trust decreased from 52% to 26%, mistrust increased from 19% to 44%.

"Although in the case of the President there is also a downward dynamics, but he retains overwhelming trust among the Ukrainian public. So, now 62% trust the President, and do not trust - 18%. In December 2022, 84% trusted the President, 5% did not trust. Accordingly, if the balance of trust-distrust in December 2022 for the President was + 80%, now it is + 42%. That is, on the one hand, we see a significant decrease, but, on the other hand, it remains unambiguously positive with a significant predominance of those who trust the President compared to those who do not trust him," the sociologists note.

The Armed Forces maintain absolute trust in society - both in December 2022 and now 96% trust the Armed Forces. In addition, 88% of Ukrainians trust V. Zaluzhnyi (only 4% do not trust).

Trust in the SSU has decreased slightly, but now the majority of Ukrainians trust it - 58% against 16% who do not trust (in December 2022, 63% trusted the SSU, 9% did not trust it). At the same time, police trust decreased more significantly - from 58% in December 2022 to 41% now (mistrust increased from 14% to 29%).

"In the current situation, it is important to understand how the fields of trust to the President and the Commander-in-Chief "intersect." In the table, the sum of all cells is 100% and shows, for example, what proportion of Ukrainians at the same time trust the President and the Commander-in-Chief. The majority of Ukrainians - 59% - at the same time trust both the President and the Commander-in-Chief V. Zaluzhnyi. The share of Ukrainians with polarized views is quite small. Thus, only 14% trust V. Zaluzhnyi and at the same time do not trust the President, and only 1% trust the President, but do not trust V. Zaluzhnyi," the interpretation of the survey says.

Ukrainian media significantly lost the trust, whose confidence indicators returned to the level of December 2021. Thus, over the last year, from 57% to 29%, there were fewer people who trust the Ukrainian media (instead, from 14% to 40%, there were more people who do not trust them).

In addition, the Church is steadily losing public trust. Between December 2021 and December 2022, Church trust dropped from 51% to 44%, between December 2022 and December 2023 - from 44% to 38%.
