Sweden and Denmark will supply Ukraine with CV90 infantry fighting vehicles

Sweden and Denmark have agreed to further support Ukraine in the field of combat vehicles. The countries will provide Kyiv with CV90 infantry fighting vehicles.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the press service of the Swedish government.
"The Swedish and Danish defense ministers have signed a joint letter of intent to further support Ukraine in the field of combat vehicles," the statement said.
It is noted that Denmark will initially make a financial contribution of DKK 1.8 billion (about $263.6 million - ed.), and Sweden will support the procurement under an agreement signed between the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration (FMV) and Ukraine in July this year.
"The letter of intent means that the parties will work on the purchase of additional combat vehicles 90 (CV90) for Ukraine, which will strengthen the overall potential of the Ukrainian defense forces," the press service said.
Swedish Defense Minister Paul Johnson said that Copenhagen and Stockholm will use their industrial potential to ensure the delivery of new CV90s to Ukraine.
"The CV90s have been and remain an important addition to Ukraine's defense since Sweden delivered 50 vehicles earlier this year," he added.
Over the course of the year, Sweden has delivered 50 CV90s to Ukraine, which have proven to be highly effective and have been highly appreciated in Ukraine.
