Ukraine wants to mobilize men who are abroad - Umerov
Ukrainians of draft age living outside the country will receive an invitation to appear at the draft points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. If they do not come, they will face sanctions.
Rustem Umerov told that during the interview with German mass media Welt TV and Bild, Censor.NET informs.
According to him, Ukrainians of draft age who are abroad will be invited to appear at the draft points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"All Ukrainian men of military age from 25 to 60 years old should receive an invitation to appear at the recruitment points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We want justice for all because it concerns our own country. We will send them an invitation, "Umerov's words quote "CHANGE".
The minister made it clear that those who do not fulfill this request are expected to be sanctioned. However, which ones are still unknown. "We're still discussing what will happen if they don't show up voluntarily," he said.
Umerov added that the mobilized must understand in advance what kind of training they will undergo and what equipment they will receive, as well as where they will serve and when they will be demobilized.
Bild writes that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 221,571 men of military age have arrived in Germany from Ukraine. Currently, there are 189,484 such Ukrainians in Germany.
