Ukraine has been living in conditions of full-scale war for the second year. December turned out to be the most difficult month for the fighters of the Tavria direction this year.
Oleksandr Shtupun, the spokesman for the United Press Center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria Region, stated this on the air of the telethon, Censor.NET reports with reference to Channel 24.
"In my opinion, the most difficult month is the last one, because the enemy constantly storms Mariinka, Avdiivka, suffers significant losses, but moves forward and tries to take it either by the end of the year, or there is some other deadline. But I believe that according to the number of attacks, according to the pressure of units, the last month of this year is the most difficult," Shtupun said.
He also said that the enemy continues to attack even now. However, despite constant pressure and attacks, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold their positions in the north of Mariinka. Stupun also added that the enemy has become more active and is trying to attack near Novomykhailivka.
