Consequences of missile strike on Konotop: residential buildings and service station damaged, 3 people were injured (updated)
As a result of the occupiers’ missile attack on the town of Konotop, Sumy region, the premises of a service station and residential buildings were damaged, two people were injured.
This was reported by the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office, Censor.NET reports.
"Two civilians were wounded as a result of a rocket attack in Konotop, Sumy region - an investigation has been launched.
According to the investigation, on 29 December 2023, in the morning, using methods of warfare prohibited by international law, the enemy fired a rocket at the town of Konotop. Konotop, Sumy region. As a result of the attack, a 65-year-old and a 39-year-old civilian man were injured. The premises of a service station and residential buildings were damaged, and one car burned to the ground," the statement said.
Under the procedural supervision of the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is being conducted into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The Sumy police said that as a result of a missile strike, 3 civilians were injured, the store premises were damaged.
Also, as a result of daily attacks, a civilian was injured, three private residential buildings, an administrative building and two cars were damaged.
