Government wants to offer reservations from mobilization in exchange for paid taxes, - Forbes
The President’s Office, the Cabinet of Ministers, and people’s deputies are considering updating the mobilization mechanism, which will include reservations for conscripts who pay taxes.

Updates to the reservation mechanism began to be considered after a draft law on improving mobilization was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada.
Currently, only employees working at "critically important" enterprises can be " reserved". However, it is planned to introduce a new criterion - the amount of personal income taxes paid to the budget on official salaries or income.
The existence of this idea in a similar format was also confirmed on condition of anonymity by four Forbes interlocutors from two factions in the Verkhovna Rada and an OP consultant.
One of the publication's interlocutors told what figures were discussed at a meeting at the Ministry of Digital Transformation on December 28.
According to him, the automatic reservation from mobilization if individuals pay the minimum amount of personal income tax per month is currently UAH 6,000 per month, which corresponds to about UAH 33,400 of salary (UAH 26,900 of salary in hand, as the employee also pays 1.5% of the military fee). Another 22% of the salary must be paid by the employer as a single social security tax.
There was also a proposal to set the threshold for official salary at UAH 35,000, which is almost the same as the first option. The third parameter: an employee for whom the employer pays about UAH 14,500 in unified social tax (corresponding to a salary of UAH 66,000) can apply for a reservation.
The principle may be extended to individual entrepreneurs (clear criteria for this group are not yet known).
For the special tax regime "Diia.City" for the IT industry, the minimum salary threshold is the equivalent of USD 3,200.
"Reservations are made through the synchronization of state registers. We are talking about Oberih (registered persons liable for military service) and information on tax payments. If a person liable for military service pays the required amount of personal income tax and has all his or her documents in order, Oberih generates a QR code for the reservation. It is valid for 45 days," the article says.
However, there is no final concept or draft document describing the new approach yet.
