Russian troops deployed an additional 10,000 occupiers from new units in the Mariupol direction. Contract recruits will be at the front in a few weeks. Currently, they are transporting machinery and equipment.
This was announced by Petro Andriushchenko, adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, Censor.NET informs.
According to him, the areas marked in red on the map where the Russian troops have deployed new units of the occupiers only in the last one and a half to two weeks. Currently, they are transporting machinery and equipment.
"This is in addition to those already based or preparing in the territory of Mariupol and the district. There are at least 10,000 additional occupiers - contract workers. In a week or two they will be at the front, and new ones will arrive in their place," Andriushchenko noted.
The councilor of the city mayor notes that the movement of personnel of the occupiers and their equipment continues even despite the difficult weather conditions on the road.
"In small groups of trucks to the places of the new base. Melekine. Yalta. Yuriivka, Urzuf," Andriushchenko noted.
Also, the occupiers are once again increasing the pace of preparations to last year's level before the start of the Bakhmut offensive.
"In general, we see an increase of bases and places of accommodation since September by at least 50 percent in the Mariupol - Berdyansk - Rozivka triangle," he noted.
Andriushchenko also reported that the occupiers have resumed training with barrel artillery. So, after a "small December rest", the training ground near the village of Babakh-Tarama works with this type of weapon every day.
"So, again, not only ballistics but also a new batch of projectiles has arrived from North Korea," he summarized.
