Police check fact of threats to journalist Nikolov
Law enforcement officers registered the information and are investigating the threats to journalist Yurii Nikolov.
This was reported by the Kyiv police communication department, Censor.NET reports.
"In Kyiv, police are checking the fact of threats to a journalist. During monitoring in one of the social networks, the police found a publication about threats to one of the media representatives. Law enforcement officers registered the information in the Journal of Unified Accounting of Statements and Reports," the statement said.
This fact is currently under investigation.
Earlier, investigative journalist Yurii Nikolov said that on January 14, unknown men broke into his apartment and tried to intimidate him.
The head of the Parliamentary Committee on freedom of Speech, Yaroslav Yurchyshyn, said that this was an obstruction of journalistic activity.
