Ukraine’s rightful place is in NATO - Sunak
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak emphasized that Ukraine should be in NATO.
He said this during a speech in the British Parliament, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform
The prime minister reminded that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the UK has provided almost £12 billion in aid to Ukraine and was the first country to provide Ukraine with lethal weapons, tanks and long-range missiles.
Sunak also emphasized that the UK has become the first country to fulfill its promise to make new bilateral security commitments outlined at the NATO Summit in 2023.
"Ukraine's rightful place is in NATO, and NATO will be stronger when Ukraine is in it. But these commitments will help bridge the gap until that day comes," the British prime minister said.
