Scholz and Biden did not discuss providing Taurus missiles to Ukraine

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and US President Joe Biden did not discuss the provision of long-range Taurus missiles to Ukraine during their telephone conversation yesterday.
This was stated by German government spokesman Steffen Gebestreit, Censor.NET reports citing the European Pravda.
He stressed that the chancellor had made a commitment that depends on coordination with the US government.
Scholz's confidence in the US president is great, the government spokesman added, answering the question whether the US government would provide military assistance to Ukraine despite resistance in the US Congress.
