Forced evacuation of two communities announced in Donetsk region

The Coordination Headquarters has decided to forcibly evacuate people from the villages of Mariinka and Ocheretyne communities in the Donetsk region.
According to Censor.NET, citing the website of the Regional Military Administration, this was announced by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, who took part in a meeting of the Coordination Headquarters on the mandatory evacuation of the population under martial law.
"I would like to remind you once again that a mandatory evacuation has been announced in the region, and a compulsory evacuation has been announced from the frontline communities.
A decision has been made to compulsorily evacuate the villages of Mariinka (Antonivka, Illinka, Zoriane, Oleksandropil, Zhelanne Druhe) and Ocheretyne (Mezhove, Voskhod, Novoselivka Persha and Zhelanne).
I insist that the residents of the region, especially families with children and people with health problems, should evacuate to safer regions of Ukraine," Filashkin said.
He also noted that international partners and friendly organisations are being engaged for this purpose.
FORCED EVACUATION OF CHILDREN FROM THE AREA OF ACTIVE HOSTILITIES
On 7 March 2023, the Government approved the Mechanism for the Forced Evacuation of Children from Active Hostilities.
The decision to forcibly evacuate children when their parents or guardians are obliged to leave a dangerous settlement is made by the regional military administration. The procedure involves the evacuation of a minor together with one of the parents who cannot refuse to leave the dangerous settlement.
Bakhmut was the first settlement from which minors and their parents were forcibly evacuated. The last time the forced evacuation of children in the Donetsk region was announced was on 23 October. At that time, 249 children living in Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, Petrivka, Nelipivka, Pivdenne, Katerynivka, Ocheretyne and Yelizavetivka were to be evacuated to safer regions.
As reported by the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine in October 2023, 856 children have been displaced from certain settlements in Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions since April due to the security situation.
