Pashinskyi claims that SSU and NABU searched his apartment in connection with transfer of "Kurchenko’s fuel" to state: "Information on suspicion is fake"
Former MP and chairman of the Association of Defence Enterprises Serhiy Pashynskyi said that his house was searched by representatives of the Security Service of Ukraine and the NABU. The search is being conducted in connection with the case of the transfer of Kurchenko’s fuel to the state in 2015.
Pashinskyi posted this on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.
"This morning, the SSU and NABU came to my apartment to search it. The case is about the transfer of 'Kurchenko's fuel', which is actually the fuel of the Kremlin's 'Rosneft', to the state - during Yanukovych's looting, this oligarch profited from assets worth hundreds of millions of dollars, including almost 100,000 tonnes of oil products, which in 2014 were transferred to state oil operators," Pashynskyi said.
"In 2015, as a member of the Ukrainian parliament, I asked the President of Ukraine to cover the fuel shortage of the Armed Forces with 'Rosneft' fuel, which angered Yanukovych's sponsors and their Russian handlers. Through their agents, 10 years ago, the Russians managed to open criminal proceedings No. 32014100070000038 of 08.05.2014. It is on the basis of this 10-year-old proceeding that my house is being searched," the former MP said.
He also recalls that only a few weeks ago, a "Russian tracer" accused him of starting the ATO in 2014.
"And now there is a strange synchronisation on the part of Ukrainian investigators... Dear friends, if you have decided to dig into that period and investigate how else I helped with the transfer of Yanukovych's assets to the state and the Armed Forces, then pay attention to the special confiscation of hundreds of millions of dollars to the budget," the former MP adds.
He reminds us that since March 2022, he has been the head of the National Association of Defence Industry Enterprises of Ukraine.
"I don't need to be searched - I have never left Ukraine during this time. The Companies-members of the Association produce drones, artillery, armoured vehicles, ammunition, electronic warfare and radar stations. Every day we experience the deaths of our loved ones, Russian bombings, and audits by the DASU. As the head of the Association and coordinator of many defence programmes, I have only one request to the investigators - please do not distract me with Kurchenko," Pashynskyi said.
He also noted that the information about the suspicion was fake.
"It is very interesting, on the other hand, how anonymous telegram channels learn about the investigative actions of law enforcement," concludes the head of the Association of Defence Enterprises.
