The enemy continues terrorist attacks on civilian energy infrastructure. On the night of February 13, one of the thermal power plants in Dnipropetrovsk region was shelled.

This was reported by Censor.NET with the reference to the press center of the Ministry of Energy.

As noted, the shelling resulted in a large-scale fire, which the State Emergency Service managed to extinguish in just a few hours. The inspection revealed significant damage to the equipment. The power units shut down, the station unloaded and stopped generating electricity.

"An overhead power line was also disconnected, which led to short-term power outages for consumers. We are currently eliminating the consequences of the fire and determining the extent of the damage. All consumers in Dnipro have electricity supply," the Ministry of Energy emphasizes.

Also yesterday evening, power engineers managed to fully restore electricity supply to consumers in Pavlograd and the surrounding areas, which were cut off after the shelling of energy facilities the day before.

As reported, one of DTEK's thermal power plants stopped producing electricity as a result of hostile shelling.
