US and its allies have trained more than 129,000 Ukrainian soldiers - Pentagon spokesman, Ryder

The United States and its allies have trained over 129,000 Ukrainian soldiers.
This was stated by Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder in an interview with Radio Svoboda, Censor.NET informs.
"As you know, we do a lot. Money is of course extremely important, as is security assistance. But we also work very closely with the international community. As an example, the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine (Ramshtein. - Ed.), which meets here," he noted.
"Today, the US, its allies and partners have trained more than 129,000 Ukrainians. We are also working together with our partners within coalitions of opportunities that seek to help Ukraine build up its defense in the long term," Ryder added.
According to the Pentagon spokesman, "we can do a lot."
"But of course, at the end of the day, it's very important to have the money behind this effort. And that's something we're going to continue to work very hard on," he concluded.
