Belarus is preparing for war - Lukashenko
Belarusian dictator Alexander Lukashenko has said that his country is preparing for war.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to BELTA.
"We are now also digging the ground, just like they are (Belarus' neighbouring countries - Ed.), very close to the border. Only our goals are completely different. They are digging trenches, trenches against tanks and so on, increasing spending on strike weapons," the self-proclaimed 'president' said.
Lukashenko called on " not to believe anyone" that Belarus wants to fight.
"We are preparing for war, I am speaking frankly about this. 'If you want peace, prepare for war' is not my idea. This is a very good saying," the dictator said.
According to him, Belarus is preparing the necessary units, and various types of weapons and equipment are being supplied to the troops.
