The Czech Republic is working with partners to ensure that Ukraine can receive the ammunition as soon as possible.

This was stated by Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky after talks in Prague with his Estonian counterpart Margus Tsakhkna, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.

"Good defence of Ukraine is the defence of us all," he said.

He thanked Estonia for its interest in the Czech initiative to purchase ammunition for Ukraine from countries outside the EU. Ukraine must receive the ammunition immediately, the minister stressed.

Lipavsky also noted the joint support for sanctions, including the possibility of directing Russian assets to support Kyiv. The question of how to do this will be discussed in Brussels in the coming days.

The Czech minister cited Estonia as an example, as it spends 2% of GDP on defence, and Prague is trying to reach this figure. Lipavsky also said that Prague condemned the inclusion of Estonian Prime Minister Kai Kallas and a number of other politicians in the Russian sanctions list.

"We condemn the Kremlin's attempts to intimidate Western politicians... We cannot allow Moscow to dictate how we should behave," Lipavsky said.

The two foreign ministers discussed the issue of EU enlargement and stressed their support for Ukraine and Moldova on their way to the EU.
