Blinken: Russia’s war against Ukraine has reached critical point, Ukrainians must be provided with everything they need

U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken believes that it is now necessary to provide Ukraine with everything it needs to successfully wage war, as it is a turning point and critical moment.
He said this in Paris, where he arrived for talks with a number of European officials, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
"We are at a critical moment when it is absolutely necessary to provide Ukrainians with what they need to defend themselves, including ammunition and air defence equipment," Blinken said at a joint press conference with French Minister of Defence Sébastien Lecorne.
The two officials visited the Nexter plant, which produces Caesar guns that are sent to the Ukrainian-Russian front.
"The Caesar gun has become a symbol of our artillery coalition, which has significantly increased its production capacity: we used to produce two guns a month, now we produce six guns a month, and we are going to increase production to twelve guns a month in the future," Lecornu said.
Blinken is due to meet with his French counterpart, Stéphane Sejourne, and in the evening he is scheduled to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron. The American diplomat will discuss the war in Ukraine with the French leader.
As a reminder, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba had a telephone conversation with U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, during which he stressed the need and urgency for the U.S. and international community to continue supporting Ukraine.
