Russian ruble plunged to 7-months low, trading 83 per euro
Euro exchange rate has exceeded 83 rubles in Russia.
As reported by Censor.NET citing Gazeta.Ru, the euro exchange rate exceeded 83 rubles during a trading session on the Moscow stock exchange on Moscow. In particular, at 4:15 p.m. MSK, euro rose by 4.46 rubles to 83.01 rubles. US dollar rose by 1.88 rubles to 70.98 rubles. During next 15 minutes, euro rose by one ruble more.The dramatic fall of Russian currency has been caused by rapid decrease in the cost of October futures for Brent crude oil.
