RF announces mass drone attack: 39 Ukrainian drones allegedly shot down. VIDEO
The Russians claimed that 39 Ukrainian drones were shot down over Russian regions that night.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defence.
It is noted that Russian air defence destroyed it:
- 19 UAVs are in the Kursk region,
- Nine UAVs are in the Belgorod region,
- five UAVs in the Bryansk region,
- three UAVs in the Voronezh region,
- three UAVs in the Leningrad region.
On the evening of 28 July, the interim head of Kursk region, Alexei Smirnov, reported that 13 Ukrainian UAVs had been shot down in Oboyansky and Medvensky districts. Eyewitness videos appeared on social media claiming that a power substation had been hit.
On Monday morning, Belgorod Region Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov announced that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had attacked the village of Nova Tavolzhanka. Local media reported that at night, drones attacked a power substation in the village of Tomarivka. A fire broke out there.
Three Ukrainian drones were shot down overnight in Voronezh region, the head of the region, Alexander Gusev, said. The wreckage of one of the drones damaged a utility infrastructure facility in the village of Gazoprovod.
"Damage was found on the roof of the building. A fire broke out and has already been extinguished by local forces. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties," the official said.
Four drones were shot down in the Bryansk region overnight, the head of the region, Alexander Bogomaz, said.
Earlier, it was reported that a power plant in the Oryol region was damaged as a result of a drone attack.
