By threatening an attack on Israel, Erdogan follows in Hussein’s footsteps, - MFA Head Katz

Israel's Foreign Minister Israel Katz responded to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's threat of invasion.
As Censor.NET reports, he announced this on the X social network.
"Erdogan follows the path of Saddam Hussein and threatens to attack Israel. He should only remember what happened there and how it ended," he said.
Hussein's regime was overthrown in a US-led invasion in 2003, and he himself was executed by an Iraqi court after being captured and convicted, the media outlet said.
To remind, on Saturday, July 27, Israel announced that the Lebanese Hezbollah group (supported by Iran) fired at a football field on the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. There are dead and wounded as a result of the attack.
Subsequently, Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan threatened Israel with an invasion from Turkey.
