"Victory Plan" contains specific dates when implementation of each point would be right - Zelenskyy

Президент Володимир Зеленський

The "Victory Plan" presented by Ukraine contains clear deadlines and specific dates when the implementation of a certain point of the Plan would be right for Ukraine.

This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at a meeting with journalists, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.

Commenting on whether it is true that Ukraine has announced a three-month deadline for partners to implement the Victory Plan or any response, the president stressed that "the [Victory] Plan has deadlines. I just said that we have a specific plan for what we plan to do in these three months."

"And the [Victory] Plan has specific dates when we believe that the implementation of this or that point would be right for us," Zelenskyy said.

Regarding Plan B, the head of state noted that, "except for preventing Russia from occupying Ukraine, I believe that they (plans B - Ed.) are not for anyone."

"There is domestic production, when you find an alternative to this or that weapon, this is the only strengthening. When you find this alternative in purchases from other countries, then you need to look for alternative sources of funding. We find them in frozen Russian assets. We were able to reach an agreement and found this way out," Zelenskyy explained.

The President added that the money from the frozen Russian assets would come in tranches only at the beginning of next year. "But nevertheless, we found this money. And this was plan B, if the United States, for example, reduced its financial support. It could happen. Then we need to find money for procurement and social support. And we have found this money. Starting next year, we will count on the relevant frozen Russian assets," Zelenskyy emphasized.
