Ukrainian Armed Forces engage in 143 combat engagements in frontline, enemy is most active in Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions - General Staff
Since the beginning of the day, as of 16:00, the total number of combat engagements along the frontline has increased to 143. The enemy is particularly active in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions.

The situation in the north
The occupiers do not stop using artillery and aircraft on the territory of Ukraine. The areas of Volfyno, Progres, Yastrubshchyna, Popivka, Novovasylivka, Basivka, Riasne, Khodyno in the Sumy region; Tymonovychi, Polissia, Huta-Studenetska in the Chernihiv region came under enemy fire. The enemy conducted one air strike on the territory of the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, using one KABs.
Combat actions in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv direction, four combat engagements took place in the vicinity of Vovchansk.
Twelve attacking attacks were repelled by Ukrainian troops near Hryhorivka, Zelenyi Hai, Zahryzove, Senkove and Andriivka in the Kupiansk direction, three firefights are still ongoing.
Combat actions in Donbas
In the Lyman direction, the enemy, with the support of aviation, is attacking in the areas of Hrekivka, Druzhkivka, Cherneshchyna, Makiivka, Terny and Torske. Since the beginning of the day, there have been 17 combat engagements in this direction, seven of which are still ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, the occupiers are attacking in the area of Hryhorivka, and the fighting is still ongoing.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our troops three times near Diliivka and Toretsk.
Fierce fighting is taking place in the Pokrovsk direction in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Krasnyi Yar, Lysivka, Chumatske, Pustynka and Novyi Trud. So far, the enemy has made 31 attempts to push our defenders from their positions, 25 attacks have already been repelled by our defenders. The occupiers dropped two aerial bombs in the areas of Zelene Pole and Pokrovsk.
In the Kurakhove direction, 12 firefights continue in the areas of Berestkyi, Sontsivka, Novodmitrivka, Kurakhove, Dalne, Katerynivka, Yelizavetivka, Hanivka and Antonivka. Twenty-three enemy attacks have already been repelled by our defenders.
In the areas of Veselyi Hai, Trudove, Kostiantynopolske, Rozdolne, Novoandriivka and Rivne in the Vremivka direction, our defenders repelled 12 enemy attacks, and one firefight is ongoing.
Fighting in the south
In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy did not conduct any active operations.
In the Orikhiv direction, the invaders actively used aviation in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Temyrivka and Pavlivka, dropping a total of ten guided aerial bombs.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, our defenders repelled two enemy attacks.
