Fierce fighting continues in Kurakhove direction, 36 enemy attacks repelled in Pokrovsk - General Staff
The situation on the frontline is characterized by the enemy's particular activity in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions. The enemy is using all available forces and means to achieve its goals. The defense forces are acting professionally and effectively, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.

In total, as noted, 146 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of the day.
Strikes on the territory of Ukraine
During the day, a number of settlements near the border with Russia suffered from enemy terrorist attacks. Thus, the settlements of Marchykhina Buda, Baranovka, Demianivka, Bachevsk in the Sumy region; Mikhalchyna Sloboda in the Chernihiv region came under artillery fire.
Situation in the Kharkiv region
The General Staff also informs that today in the Kharkiv direction, Russian occupants stormed the defensive lines of Ukrainian troops three times in the areas of Vovchansk, Lyptsi and Vysoka Yaruha.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy actively attacked the positions of our troops eight times in the areas of Pishchane, Kolisnykivka, Lozova and Zahryzove. Two enemy attacks are still ongoing.
Situation in the East
According to the General Staff, today in the Lyman direction, the invading army conducted 21 attacks on Ukrainian positions near Bohuslavka, Druzheliubivka, Kopanka, Zelenyi Hai, Zarichne, Terny, Yampolivka, Nadiia and Makiivka. Eight combat engagements ended without success for the enemy, 13 more are still ongoing.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the invaders unsuccessfully stormed the positions of our troops near Stupochky. The situation is under control.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy concentrated its offensive efforts in the areas of Toretsk, Diliivka, Leonidivka and Shcherbynivka, where seven firefights took place, and three more are currently underway.
"In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupants have made 43 attempts to push our defenders from their positions in the areas of Myroliubivka, Novotoretske, Promin, Lysivka, Dachenske, Zelene, Novyi Trud, Zhovte and Chumatske. The defense forces are holding back the onslaught, having repelled 36 enemy attacks so far, and seven firefights are still ongoing. The enemy's losses are being clarified.
Fighting continues near Sontsivka, Staryi Terny, Maksymilianivka, Dachne, Kurakhove, Katerynivka, Yelizavetivka, Hanivka, Antonivka and Uspenivka in the Kurakhove direction. According to the updated information, 22 out of 31 attacks of the occupation army have been repelled so far. Fierce fighting is taking place," the statement said.
Situation in the South
The General Staff also informs that in the Vremivka direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units 13 times near Novosilka, Novodariivka, Sukhyi Yaliv and Blahodatne. Six firefights are ongoing.
In the Orikhiv direction, the occupiers attacked our units near Nesterianka.
The invaders keep trying to drive our units out of their positions in the Prydniprovskyi direction. Thus, today they made three unsuccessful assaults on the positions of our defenders.
The enemy did not conduct any active operations in the Huliaipillia and Siversk directions.
