“DPR” terrorists impede SMM activity most harshly, - OSCE
The “DPR” terrorists most harshly impede representatives of the OSCE mission to carry out their functions envisaged by their mandate.
This was stated by Deputy Head of the OSCE SMM Alexander Hug during a briefing in Kyiv on Friday, Censor.NET informs citing Ukrinform.
"Most of the incidents and the harshest incidents related to impediments to our work took place with the participation of the "DPR" representatives," he said.
According to Hug, the aggressive behavior of the "DPR" militants also restrains the OSCE SMM to fulfill its monitoring functions at night.
According to the OSCE SMM head, the observers keep recording everything they hear and see at night to put it in their reports later. The mission was certainly studying the possibility to fully work at night but it required advanced security guarantees to observers, Hug said.
However, Hug added that the aggressive behavior of some men at the checkpoints in Donetsk proves it to be impossible.
