Active fighting takes place in Siverskyi sector: it is connected with replacement of commander in Russian army, - OTG "Luhansk"
Active hostilities began in the Siverskyi sector, with 16 combat engagements recorded over the past day. This is due to the replacement of the army commander in the area.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Anastasiia Bobovnikova, spokesperson for the OTG "Luhansk", during a telethon.
"The day started very difficult. We have been fighting in the Siverskyi sector for three days now. Over the past day alone, there were 16 firefights and the fighting is still ongoing," said Bobovnikova.
The spokeswoman also added that the situation in the Siverskyi sector is likely to be due to a change in enemy command.
"Before that, the Russians had a lot of failures in this area, they had a change of command. Apparently, the new commander decided to show that he can achieve some results near Siversk," Bobovnikova said.
As a reminder, the Russian invaders do not give up their attempts to fully occupy Luhansk region.
