Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk urged Western leaders not to speculate on Ukraine's possible defeat in the fight against Russia.

He said this during a visit to Lviv on December 17, Censor.NET reports citing RBC-Ukraine.

"I appeal to all the leaders of the Western world - we must all support Ukraine at this time as never before. Stop speculating about Ukraine's possible defeat," - Tusk emphasized.

He also reminded that Poland is preparing the 46th tranche of aid to Ukraine, which will be transferred in January. Its size is 100 million euros.

Tusk added that Poland, along with other partners, is ready to transfer "some equipment" that Ukraine needs.

Earlier it was reported that according to a CBOS poll, for the first time since the beginning of a full-scale war, the opinion prevails in Polish society that Ukraine should seek a peace agreement with Russia, even if it has to give up part of its territory.
