The number of Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine is constantly growing. According to the Ukrainian authorities, this year alone, we are talking about 100,000 additional troops.
According to Censor.NET, this was reported by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi in an interview with Le Monde.
"The number of Russian troops is constantly increasing. This year, according to our estimates, there are an additional 100 thousand Russian soldiers on Ukrainian soil," he said.
According to the general, the intensity of the war continues to grow both in terms of scale and number of troops. He also confirmed the growth of the technological level with the use of drones, which has affected the tactics of using troops on the battlefield.
"Our main goal in defense is to inflict maximum losses on the battlefield and destroy the enemy's military potential deep in its territory," added Syrskyi.
Earlier, Anastasia Bobovnikova, a spokeswoman for the Luhansk OSGT, said that in one day, the ruscists lost 400 soldiers in the Siversk direction due to failures during assaults.
