Almost 4 thousand complaints against TCR and SS received in 2024 - Lubinets

Since the beginning of the year, Ukrainians have sent almost 4,000 appeals to the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights regarding violations in the work of the TCR and SS.
Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets said this in an interview with Ukrainska Pravda, Censor.NET reports.
"There are cases when, at my request, a separate meeting of the MMC was convened, a full analysis was conducted, and it was recorded that a person who had previously been recognized as ‘completely healthy’ at the MMC was actually ill. As a result, this man was mobilized, but he went to the AFU exclusively for logistics, and they immediately found a unit where he was offered a specific position," said the Commissioner.
According to Lubinets, the largest number of complaints about the work of the TCR and SSs comes from Zakarpattia. At the same time, there are regions where, according to the Ombudsman, the number of such complaints is quite small, and of those that do exist, most are not confirmed. He mentioned Kropyvnytskyi as an example of such regions.
Earlier, the Verkhovna Rada stated that there is currently no alternative system for mobilization processes to the one provided by the TCR.
