Court sends head of CRGL Rudyi to pre-trial detention center

The Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv has imposed a pre-trial restraint on the head of the Commission for Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries (CRGL), Ivan Rudyi, in the form of detention without bail.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to Suspilne.
Rudyi will stay in the pre-trial detention center until February 4.
Earlier, SBI officers detained Ivan Rudyi, head of the Commission for Regulation of Gambling and Lotteries, on suspicion of aiding the aggressor state, as well as illegal possession of drugs in large quantities without intent to sell.
Large amounts of cocaine found on Rudyi's property
During the searches, a large amount of cocaine was found and seized from the head of CRGL.
The pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
It should also be reminded that the court granted the petition of the State Bureau of Investigation and the Prosecutor General's Office to transfer to the ARMA more than UAH 2.6 billion (this is the total amount of seized funds, taking into account profitable financial transactions) seized on the accounts of an online casino associated with representatives of the aggressor state.
Earlier, Censor.NET, citing the media and People's Deputy Oleksii Honcharenko, wrote that the State Bureau of Investigation detained the head of CRGL Rudyi. He is suspected of aiding and abetting the Russian Federation.
