In the morning, Russian troops carried out a massive artillery attack on Kherson.

This was announced by the head of the RMA Oleksandr Prokudin, Censor.NET reports.

"Today Kherson woke up from numerous strikes by the Russian army. The occupiers have created hell in the city. There were explosions in all districts of the regional centre. The enemy deliberately attacked residential buildings, social and critical infrastructure," he said.

The prosecutor's office described the consequences of the enemy shelling.

"So far, two men aged 60 and 75 have been killed and nine civilians have been wounded. The data is being clarified," the statement said.

Civilian objects were damaged, including private and multi-apartment residential buildings and power lines.
