This was reported by the press service of Ukrenergo, Censor.NET reports.
"The reason for the temporary introduction of restrictions is the need to immediately replace equipment damaged by shelling and the loss of certain generating capacities. As soon as the work is completed, the restrictions for household consumers will be lifted," the statement said.
When the work will be completed
The estimated time of completion is by 5 p.m., Ukrenergo said.
"Power engineers are taking all the necessary measures to restore the energy infrastructure facilities damaged and destroyed by the Russians," they summarized.
As a reminder, on December 23, 2024, it was reported that emergency power outage schedules had been introduced in Kyiv and a number of regions.
