Ukraine simplifies procurement of UAVs and EW for military units - Umierov

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a resolution that makes the procurement of unmanned systems and domestically produced electronic warfare (EW) systems permanent.
This was announced on Facebook by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umierov, Censor.NET reports.
This decision greatly simplifies the procurement procedures and ensures stability for the supply of necessary equipment to the front.
From now on, military unit commanders will be able to purchase tactical-level drones and electronic warfare systems without lengthy approvals from the General Staff and other military authorities. In addition, military units have access to framework agreements signed by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the State Special Communications Service. This will allow them to receive the necessary equipment faster and at competitive prices.
"This solution ensures not only prompt delivery of the necessary technologies to the frontline but also supports Ukrainian manufacturers, providing them with the opportunity to develop and improve their products steadily," Umierov said.
As a reminder, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has drafted two alternative versions of the bill on the conditions of demobilization of military personnel during martial law.
