Russian Defence Ministry announces alleged downing of 59 UAVs over 5 regions of Russia

The Russian Ministry of Defence claims that on the night of Wednesday, 25 December 2024, Russian air defence allegedly intercepted 59 Ukrainian drones over the territory of five regions of Russia.

This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the hostile Ministry of Defence.

"26 UAVs were shot down over the territory of the Belgorod region, 23 - over the territory of the Voronezh region, three UAVs - over the territories of the Kursk, Bryansk and Tambov regions, and one - over the Sea of Azov," the source said.

No further information is available at this time.

It is also known that the "Carpet" plan has been introduced at Kazan airport. Departing and arriving flights have been delayed. Monitoring channels report the threat of a UAV attack.
