All necessary economic and social incentives for Ukrainians to return from abroad should be created - Zelenskyy

On December 26, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with government officials and the Presidential Administration team on the return to Ukraine of citizens who left for the war.
He said this in an evening video address, Censor.NET reports.
"Today, a lot of attention was paid to internal issues - those decisions, those innovations that are needed in the future so that Ukraine can return as many of our people who left because of the war as possible," Zelenskyy said.
We need to create all the necessary economic and social incentives for Ukrainians to work in Ukraine, to work for Ukraine, to create more potential for Ukraine to be on equal footing in global competition," he emphasized.
The Head of State noted that Ukrainians had proved their courage and could demonstrate to the world that they could "recover and rebuild from the ruins".
"I held a meeting on this today - Vice Prime Ministers Chernyshov, Fedorov and Kuleba, the Office team were present. We are preparing for tomorrow to talk with representatives of Ukrainian business about what systemic solutions are needed now and in the future to give Ukraine more confidence and a strong economic breath," Zelenskyy added.
El Pais reported that Ukraine allegedly wants EU countries to stop providing financial assistance to refugees.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Heorhii Tykhyi refuted a number of statements in the El Pais article regarding the return of Ukrainian citizens from the EU.
