Highest intensity of hostilities was registered in Pokrovsk sector yesterday. Adversary attempted to improve tactical situation in Kupiansk direction - OSGT "Khortytsia"

During the day, the enemy attacked the positions of the Defence Forces at the Pokrovsk, Kharkiv, Siversk, Kupiansk, Lyman, Kurakhove and Vremivka directions. Fighting is ongoing in the urban areas of Toretsk and Chasiv Yar.

Enemy assault groups in the Pokrovsk sector attacked the positions of the Defence Forces in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhenka, Novoielizavetivka, Dachenske, Vidrodzhennia, Shevchenko, Pishchane, Lysivka, Sontsivka and Novotroitske. Measures are currently underway to detect and destroy enemy assault groups that attempted to infiltrate our combat formations. The enemy continues to amass forces for further attacks.

Enemy assault groups unsuccessfully attacked our positions in Vovchansk and near Starytsia in the Kharkiv sector, as well as in Bilohorivka and near Hryhorivka in the Siversk sector: all attacks were repelled.

In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy tried to improve the tactical situation in the areas of Pishchane, Kolisnykivka, Lozova and Kruhliakivka, but failed.

In the direction of Kovalivka, Novoiehorivka, Terny, Zelenyi Hai, in Makiivka and in Serebrianskyi forest, the enemy conducted assault operations - in the Lyman direction: the enemy's attacks were stifled.

In the urban areas of Toretsk and Chasiv Yar, the enemy, despite numerous losses, continues to attack our positions, destroying the remaining infrastructure of the cities. With the support of armoured vehicles, the enemy conducted assault operations in the direction of Stupochky: 4 tanks and 9 armoured personnel carriers were destroyed and damaged.

In the Kurakhove direction, the enemy remains highly active: heavy fighting is ongoing in the areas of Dalne, Dachne and in the urban area of Kurakhove, the enemy is trying to use its numerical superiority and develop the offensive.

Fighting continues in the Vremivka area: Ukrainian defenders are selflessly resisting enemy attacks in the areas of Kostiantynopilske, Rozlyv, Kostiantynopil, Vremivka and Novyi Komar. Enemy assault groups continue to try to infiltrate our combat formations. Measures to detect and destroy enemy assault groups in these areas are underway.
