DPRK’s first captured soldier dies due to injuries - Yonhap
The first North Korean soldier captured by the Ukrainian Defence Forces died the next day.
Yonhap writes about this with reference to South Korean intelligence data, Censor.NET reports.
According to the publication, the North Korean mercenary of the Russian Federation died as a result of his injuries.
On 27 December 2024, South Korean intelligence confirmed that Ukrainian troops had captured a wounded North Korean soldier in the Kursk direction.
Earlier it was reported that North Korea is preparing to deploy additional troops and military equipment in Russia, including kamikaze drones. The DPRK continues to support Moscow in its war against Ukraine.
