Ukraine received $41.7 billion in aid from partners in 2024 - Marchenko

Ukraine received $41.7 billion in international aid in 2024.
This was stated by Finance Minister Serhii Marchenko, Censor.NET reports citing Ukrinform.
"This year we have already attracted $41.7 billion in aid from partners. And this allowed us to fully finance pensions, salaries in the education sector and the medical sector. The entire system of humanitarian and social programs has been financed," the Minister of Finance said.
Marchenko emphasized that international assistance remains an important tool for maintaining Ukraine's macro-financial stability in the context of a full-scale war and allows the state to fulfill all social obligations to its citizens.
As a reminder, on December 30, 2024, US President Joe Biden announced the provision of almost $2.5 billion in military aid to Ukraine.
