In Kharkiv, 94 people died as a result of Russian shelling in 2024, including two children.

According to Censor.NET, this was reported by Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov.

"Last year, the enemy shelled the city 318 times. With rockets, drones, and bombs. These explosions woke us up in the middle of the night, destroyed our homes, took our lives. 94 dead, including three children. 1108 wounded, including 62 children," the statement reads.

Also, 2113 air raid alerts were sounded in Kharkiv last year, which equals 3764 hours. That is, 156 days.

"The enemy sees no boundaries. His missiles do not choose between a school or a residential building, a hospital or a playground. For him, we are all just targets. But Russia does not understand the main thing: our spirit is unbreakable! Every alarm, every shelling only proves that Kharkiv is a hero city that never gives up," Terekhov said.

On the afternoon of December 26, Russian troops struck the Industrialnyi District of Kharkiv with a Molniia-1 drone, hitting the courtyard of a 16-story building.
