In the temporarily occupied territories, it is forbidden to involve St. Nicholas and carolers in the celebration of Christmas and New Year's days.

This is reported by the National Resistance Center, Censor.NET reports.

"The Kremlin is so afraid of even the mention of Ukraine and Ukrainian that it decided to once again hit its Orthodox rock bottom," the Center emphasizes.

It is noted that in pre-schools and educational institutions of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, the administration has received instructions to ban even the mention of St. Nicholas. Only Ded Moroz (A figure akin to Santa Claus in the West, Ded Moroz (or Father Frost) traditionally brings presents to children on New Year's Eve -ed.note) and the snow maiden should be present at all events.

In addition, a complete taboo on carols and nativity scenes has been introduced.
