On the night of January 2, 2025, the Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with 72Shaheds and other types of UAVs.

This was reported by the Air Force, Censor.NET reports.

They were launched by the Russians from the directions of Bryansk, Orel, Kursk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

"As of 08.30 a.m., 47 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones have been confirmed downed in the Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Dnipro, Odesa, Kherson, and Mykolaiv regions.

Due to active counteraction by the Defense Forces, 24 enemy imitator drones were lost locally (without negative consequences). One UAV is in the air!" the Air Force said.
