In 2024, Ministry of Defense allowed more than 1,300 samples of weapons and equipment to be put into operation, 75% of which were Ukrainian-made
In 2024, the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine commissioned more than 1,300 models of weapons and military equipment. Almost 75% of them were manufactured by Ukrainian enterprises.
This was reported by the Ministry of Defence, Censor.NET reports.
"This indicator demonstrates the high efficiency of Ukrainian defence companies, which not only meet the needs of the frontline but also demonstrate international competitiveness in the face of war," said Deputy Minister of Defence of Ukraine Dmytro Klimenkov.
In particular, among the samples approved for use:
- 251 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs);
- 169 rounds of ammunition;
- 153 electronic warfare (EW) and reconnaissance (EW) equipment;
- 108 engineering facilities;
- 97 means of communication;
- 57 ground-based robotic systems (GBS).
Klimenkov noted that the company managed to achieve such results thanks to cooperation with Ukrainian producers and the support of international partners.
