Magura V5 naval drones destroyed two Russian helicopters in Black Sea: Ministry of Defense clarified data

Ukrainian intelligence has reported that two Russian Mi-8 helicopters were destroyed in a successful operation near the occupied Crimea.
This was reported by the press service of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.
"According to updated data, as a result of a successful operation of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine in the Black Sea near the temporarily occupied Crimea on December 31, 2024, special forces of the Group 13 unit destroyed two Russian Mi-8 helicopters using Magura V5 missiles equipped with marine drones," the statement said.
The crews of these enemy aircraft were also eliminated.
"One more Russian helicopter was hit by fire and managed to land," the DIU added.
As a reminder, on Tuesday, December 31, soldiers of the Ukrainian Defence Intelligence's Group 13 special unit hit an air target for the first time in history using a Magura V5 maritime strike drone equipped with missile weapons.
Russian propagandists claimed that on December 31, Ukrainians destroyed two Mi-8 helicopters with crews over the Black Sea.
