The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine has launched a large-scale Anti-Corruption Programme for 2025-2026 aimed at eliminating corruption risks and increasing the efficiency of resource use.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defence, Censor.NET reports.

The program envisages the implementation of a number of systemic changes, including the inventory of military property, the creation of an automated system for managing the queue for military housing, the improvement of defense legislation, and ensuring transparency in procurement.

As noted, the program will be monitored by the Department for the Prevention and Detection of Corruption, which will publish the results of the analysis on the official website of the agency.

"The Ministry of Defence has defined the policy framework for preventing and detecting corruption, measures to implement the state anti-corruption program, and measures to eliminate identified corruption risks. These steps are our priority for the next two years," said Serhiy Stepanyan, acting head of the Anti-Corruption Department.

The program also includes the introduction of new training systems for officials and the military, increased transparency of financial flows, and the establishment of mechanisms to control key resources such as fuel and intellectual property.

The anti-corruption program, approved by a decree of the Ministry of Defence, is part of the strategy to reform the defense sector in line with NATO standards.

On Thursday, 26 December, elections to the Public Anti-Corruption Council at the Ministry of Defence were held from 9:00 to 21:00.
