AFU General Staff: 108 combat engagements took place in frontline, most of them in Kursk and Pokrovsk directions
Since the beginning of the day, as of 4 p.m., 108 combat engagements have taken place at the front.
This was reported by Censor.NET with reference to the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The situation in the north
Border settlements continue to suffer from shelling from the territory of the Russian Federation, in particular Karpovychi, Chernihiv region; Bila Bereza, Sumy region.
Fighting in the Kharkiv region
Ukrainian troops repelled two attacks near Vovchansk in the Kharkiv direction today. The invaders attacked the areas of Orishanka and Udy with GABs (guided aerial bombs) and Hraniv with FFARs (free-flight aerial rockets) in the Kharkiv region.
In the Kupiansk direction, the enemy carried out three assault operations near Synkivka, Petropavlivka and Zahryzove. Two of the engagements ended, and one is ongoing.
Hostilities in Donbas
In the Lyman direction, the invading army attacked seven times near Nadiia, Pershotravneve and Makiivka. The combat engagements are ongoing.
In the Siversk direction, enemy aircraft attacked Siversk, using seven GABs. The enemy attacked our defenders once near Bilohorivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled three attempts by the occupiers to advance in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Bila Hora and in the direction of Stupochky. Russian invaders launched 24 FFARs at Stupochki.
In the Toretsk direction, the enemy attacked twice near Shcherbynivka. Katerynivka, Toretsk and Oleksandro-Kalynove came under attack with air strikes.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have made 16 attempts to push our defenders from their positions near Tarasivka, Yelizavetivka, Lysivka, Zelene, Novyi Trud and Pokrovsk. The defense forces are holding back the enemy's offensive and repelled 12 attacks, four firefights are still ongoing. Oleksandropil was hit by an air strike.
In the Kurakhove direction, the enemy attacked seven times today near Slovianka, Petropavlivka, Kurakhove and Dachne. Six battles are over, another one is still ongoing. Andriivka was attacked by GABs.
In the Vremivka direction, the occupiers attacked the positions of our troops four times near Kostiantynopil and Kostiantynopolske. One battle is still ongoing. The enemy launched an air strike with FFARs near Novopil.
The situation in other directions
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked our troops once in the direction of Novodanylivka. The enemy launched an air strike with free-flight rockets at Stepnohirsk.
The enemy did not conduct any offensive actions in the Huliaipole and Prydniprovske directions.
In the Kursk region, Ukrainian defenders repelled 17 attacks by the invaders, and 45 more combat engagements are ongoing.
In other directions of the front, the situation has not changed significantly.
