Ukrainian Armed Forces repel 94 Russian attacks in Kursk region over 24 hours - General Staff
A total of 218 combat engagements were registered over the last day. Most of them took place in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions and in the Kursk region.
According to Censor.NET, this is stated in the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Shelling of Ukraine
Yesterday, the enemy launched 64 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, dropping 95 GABs and using 2,700 kamikaze drones. In addition, it carried out more than five thousand shellings, including 163 from MLRS.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, in the areas of Orishanka, Hraniv, Udy, Zolochiv, Artilne, Siversk, Stupochky, Katerynivka, Toretsk, Oleksandro-Kalynove, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Oleksandropil, Tarasivka, Hrodivka, Andriivka, Novopil, Oleksiivka, Velyka Novosilka, Kostiantynopil, Stepnohirsk.
Hostilities in the Kharkiv region
In the Kharkiv sector, our troops repelled three enemy attacks in the vicinity of Vovchansk.
Four occupiers' attacks took place in the Kupyansk sector yesterday. Defence forces repelled enemy assaults near the settlements of Synkivka, Petropavlivka, Topoli and Zahryzove.
The enemy attacked 13 times in the Lyman sector. They tried to advance near Nadiia, Pershotravneve, Terny, Yampolivka, Zarichne and Makiivka.
In the Siverskyi sector, the enemy attacked our defenders' positions twice near Bilohorivka.
In the Kramatorsk sector, five firefights were registered in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Bila Hora and in the direction of Stupochky.
In the Toretsk sector, the enemy carried out eight attacks near Shcherbynivka and Toretsk.
In the Pokrovsk sector, our defenders stopped 41 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of Myroliubivka, Promin, Sukhyi Yar, Pishchane, Kotlyne, Ukrainka, Yasenove, Novoielyzavetivka, Tarasivka, Yelyzavetivka, Lysivka, Zelene, Novyi Trud and Pokrovsk.
In the Kurakhove sector, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 26 attacks on the positions of our troops near Slovianka, Sribne, Andriivka, Petropavlivka, Kurakhove and Dachne.
In the Vremivka sector, the enemy carried out 13 offensives against the positions of Ukrainian troops in the areas of Kostiantynopil, Yantarne, Dachne and Kostiantynopilske.
Situation in the south and north
In the Orikhiv sector, our troops successfully repelled one enemy attack near Novodanylivka.
In the Prydniprovskyi sector, Russian invaders stormed the positions of our units twice without success.
In the operational zone in the Kursk region, Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled 94 attacks by Russian invaders over the past day. In addition, the enemy launched nine air strikes, using nine guided bombs, and fired 372 artillery shells at the positions of our troops and settlements.
The enemy did not conduct any assault operations in the Huliaipillia sector yesterday.
In the Volyn and Polissia sectors, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.
On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy is using artillery from the territory of the Russian Federation in the vicinity of Ukrainian settlements.
Strikes on the enemy
Our soldiers inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces and actively undermine the enemy's offensive potential in the rear.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces hit 12 areas of concentration of personnel and equipment, two radar stations, two air defence facilities, as well as another important object of the Russian invaders.
In total, the Russian invaders suffered 1,970 casualties over the last day. Ukrainian troops also neutralised 10 tanks, 25 armoured combat vehicles, 45 artillery systems, two MLRS, four air defence systems, 83 operational and tactical UAVs and 170 occupiers' vehicles.
